While homeschooling five children over the past thirteen years, Yvonne has overcome many challenges; she teaches multiple children, a special needs child, and high
school students while dealing with chronic illness, providing care for a parent, and working. Being uniquely equipped through her experiences, Yvonne guides and encourages homeschool parents by consulting with homeschool families and speaking at homeschool conventions and for homeschool groups nationwide. Yvonne
is the author of Inspirational Homeschooling. Her work has been published In Christian Home Educators of Colorado’s Update Magazine and the book, "Just Like You: A Collection of Homeschool Journeys" from HomeWorks by Precept. She also writes blog posts for HomeschoolHelp.com, the Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) blog, MyHomeschoolHub.com. and InspirationalHomeschooling.com. Yvonne resides in Colorado Springs with her five children and husband of twenty-five years.
