Julie Blank is a native of Colorado and a homeschool mom. She graduated from Rampart High School and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Julie’s husband graduated from the Air Force Academy and after getting married, they traveled to several air force bases until he retired at Peterson Air Force Base. She and her husband of 31 years have four children. Julie has been homeschooling for 23 years in Colorado and Florida. She became a member of High Country Home Educators in 2002 and served in a variety of roles within that ministry. All of her children have been homeschooled from Kindergarten on. Two children are college graduates, one is currently in college, and the youngest is a homeschooled freshman in high school. While living in Florida for six years, Julie became the Administrator for a private umbrella school. Helping families navigate their homeschool journeys and planning for beyond the high school years has become a passion for her. For the last year, Julie has been serving as the Director of High Country Christian Academy, a private, non-public school for homeschooling students.
