Sara Hurley teaches her four children at home, surrounded by their 70 acre family farm in southeast Colorado. She isdedicated to bringing educational opportunities to rural Colorado homeschool students and is passionate about innovationin education. Sara also grew passionate about the Falcon AeroLab program as her children began to attend. Therefore,she asked what she could do to help the Falcon AeroLab program grow and be around to serve future generations. Carolyn homeschooled her children in New York for several years before moving to Colorado in 2004. Carolyn’s interest and involvement in legislative issues has grown as her children grew. Her passion and aim is to help keep our homeschooling freedoms intact in Colorado. Carolyn also keeps watch on attacks on parental rights and religious freedom. She consistently works with legislators and keeps homeschool families updated on legislation. In addition, Carolyn leads a weekly prayer group at the capitol in Denver, CO.

Hudson Puhek has competed with Homeschool Science Colorado for seven years, serving as team captain for the past two seasons. Competing in every category of science and engineering from optics and astronomy to genetics and ornithology, Hudson has earned more than 50 regional, state, and national level medals. Cindy Puhekholds a masters degree in chemistry and has been involved in science education her entire adult life. She is the head coach of Homeschool Science Colorado, and is proud of their team's accomplishments. Their team is excited to compete in the Science Olympiad National Tournament for a second time in May of 2023! Mark Hyatt, founder and CEO of Falcon AeroLab. 
Mark served as a fighter pilot squadron commander in the Air Force, advisor to Secretary of Defense and the past two White House Administrations on school choice, safety, social climate and culture issues. He’s also served as Vice Commandant at the USAF Academy, Director of their Center for Character and Leadership Development, President of the largest charter school in Colorado, The Classical Academy, and Executive Director of the Charter School Institute in Denver. He’s testified at the Colorado Legislature to keep partial funding to public schools for home school students. 
Mark’s journey through the education industry combined with his wife, Debbie’s, experience advocating for youth brought them to the realization that children thrive when education is tailored to their needs and interests. Together, they founded Falcon AeroLab.

Deborah Randall is a homeschooling parent of 14 years and a Colorado Licensed Educator with an elementary education degree. She taught in the public classroom setting in Tulsa, OK for eight years. Marsha Brower
Marsha Brower started playing instruments at age three and has never stopped. Though teaching music was not her career goal, her interest in and enjoyment of music guided her passion to teach music to others. She taught music classes in school and offered private lessons, growing in knowledge as she prepared for and taught each class. She began teaching music to students in homeschool co-ops and enrichment programs. As an assistant for two homeschool band programs her understanding of music instruction grew. When the instructors for these programs could no longer teach, she picked up the baton and carried on. Hence, Colorado Homeschool Music was born.
