Dr. Margaret B. Wright, President/CEO of Collaborative Educational Supportive Services, LLC (CESS, LLC) in Pueblo, is an author, an education advocate/consultant/; a Formational Prayer Counselor; a Colorado Certified Addiction Specialist; a Competency Restoration Education Provider; an ordained minister of the gospel; and a professional performing artist. She holds a PhD in educational research and policy analysis with a concentration in curriculum and instruction; a MSA in School Administration and a BA and MFA in Theatre Arts. She is a graduate of the certificate program in formational prayer (Terry Wardle’s) from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio and the certificate program in theology from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She currently serves as the CEO of CESS, LLC; Exec. Dir/Consultant with Pueblo Empowerment Community Development Corporation; and co-founder/apostle of Pueblo Center of Worship and Empowerment.
Education: As an educator (credited with over 40 years) and an enthusiast for the arts as a conduit for learning, she has served in a myriad of roles: college and community college instructor; education director/principal; teacher (high, middle and elementary schools) and as an education consultant. She has provided professional development for teachers, paraprofessionals and school administrators. During her tenure as a school administrator, she served in several alternative educational settings: three juvenile prisons, a mental health hospital, medical hospital and a specialized Children’s Hospital for students with multiple disabilities. She was trained as an AdvancED (SACS CASI) Chair-National Certification as an AdvancED Quality Assurance Review Chair: certified chair for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Council on Accreditation and School Improvement; trained to lead a quality assurance review team visit into any SACS CASI / AdvancED-member school. Dr. Margaret B. Wright has been advocating for the educational rights of children for decades and in Pueblo since she moved there in 2013.
Counseling: Her approach in counseling is founded in her earlier work while serving as a rehabilitation therapist in a music therapy program in a residential mental health hospital in NC. She created and implemented a drama and dance therapeutic approach to treatment of patients with mental health and intellectual disabilities. As a result of her patients' responses to treatment, she was invited to present her techniques at their psychiatrists and medical doctors’ staff meeting, the North Carolina State Music Therapy Association conference, the South East Regional Music Therapy Association conference, and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s “Very Special Arts Festival.”
Ministry: She provides training for Christian faith-based ministries, nationally and internationally, in using the arts for ministerial outreach and education, assisting numerous churches in establishing creative arts ministries and evangelistic outreach using dance, theatre, puppetry, Spoken Word, etc.

In this episode I sit down with Rob Decker who is a certified personal trainer with extensive experience working privately with clients as well as for major high end establishments such as Equinox and Lifetime Fitness.
Rob is also a CCAR (Center for Addiction Recovery) Coach. CCAR focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. Rob's unique skills and compassion for kids has made him an excellent youth mentor, as well. He is a published author and public speaker who has appeared on numerous podcasts speaking about his faith and his commitment to fitness.
This episode dives into Robs personal story from being an addict to speaking and helping those in recovery through his non profit Rise as Lions. He also owns the softball team Recovery Rebels which is a team that brings those in recovery together.
